Functional Statement
Under the Office of the Municipal Mayor, the Manolo Fortich Public Markets Division is one of the reputable Local Economic Enterprises of the Municipality.
Permanently grounded on the established Market Ordinances,its core function is to manage all Public Markets located in the different Barangays. Thatenacted law governs all activities, rules, and regulations inside the Marketplaces.
To adhere to its core function, theDivisionmust tend to both the vendors and customers.
Foremost, it ensures food safety standards are constantlypracticed starting fromproduct handling down to retailing. The cleanliness and sanitation of stalls, displays, and overall condition of the Public Marketsare given with highest importance.
Furthermore, the Division endeavors that the supply all basic commodities in the Marketplaces must be steady, in decent quality, and priced fairly as needed by all constituents of the Municipality.
